So this is my first experiment with HDR (High Dynamic Range) picture taking. I finally owned up and bought a nice tripod so I can play with this stuff now. I need to experiment, and I really need a new camera- one with a trigger...or maybe auto-bracket with a 2s delay might work as well. Thoughts Dave?

what kind of exposure range are you using? with a lot of high-range scenes a simple auto-bracket won't work. you need a large range of exposure times to really fill in the shadows and highlights.... something like 1/10 to 1/500 for strongly varying scenes. and you don't want a delay either. take them in as quick a succession as possible. clouds move and will screw up the stacking.
beautiful pictures by the way. the tetons are an incredible range.....
